About The keitt Institute
Founded in 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia, the Keitt Institute has been solely focused on one idea – The relationship you have with YOURSELF, is the most important relationship you’ll ever have. With that in mind, founders Jennifer Keitt and Morgan Holmes embarked on a journey to empower the lives of men, women, and children across the country.
The Keitt institute is focused on social and emotional learning environments that help pave the way for professional men and women to be aware of their own feelings, and use that information to lead themselves and others.
Since its founding, the Keitt Institute has been dedicated to inspiring and encouraging students, women, and men, and we are passionate about changing lives every day.
The Keitt Institute aspires to be a leading teaching, research and empowerment organization.
The Keitt Institute exists to empower, educate, equip, and encourage a global community of women who are being transformed in their thinking, pursuing their unique purpose and unlocking their full potential.
Keitt Institute Experiences
Leadership Development for Teens
The Keitt Institute focuses on a variety of custom-created and curated KI EXPERIENCES, starting with leadership development for high school girls. #StrongGirls takes students through an eight-hour training program, developing self-awareness, self-management skills, relationship skills, social awareness, and responsible decision making. This student leadership experience has been taught at a dozen high schools, so far. Though centered in the Atlanta metro, the #StrongGirls experience has made its way to students all over Georgia in Rabun County, Henry County, Barrow County, Augusta-Richmond County, and even internationally to Rwanda, Africa. The program runs on a cohort model each semester. Since the pandemic, the Keitt Institute has taken students through the unique curriculum virtually.
Personal Development for Today's Woman
One of our most recognized experiences is PowerHer. This experience caters to adult women throughout the country. Historically, the Keitt Institute would bring together upwards of 400 women for a live, in-person, motivational program focused on helping women find their best selves. Now, the programming is targeted to today’s woman – focusing on giving women tools that can help them be successful during their busy lives. Since launching inspirational video segments in August, focused on targeted topics like “benefits of gratitude,” “money management,” and “vitality and serenity,” the Keitt Institute has reached more than 150,000 people – with close to 153,000 views on the short video messages. Through the PowerHer experience, the Keitt Institute also provides monthly virtual mixers where women across the country can connect with each other and learn and grow as a community.
Corporate Training Experiences
The KEITT INSTITUTE EXPERIENCES are one-of-a-kind, and have several signature features that our professionals love – including group interactions, positive reinforcements, and the ability to immediately identify action steps and create a customized blueprint that participants can refer to for years to come.
At the Keitt Institute, we’re passionate about creating leaders and offer Corporate Leadership Training for professional men and women. That training is broken into four specific experiences each designed for adults who are hungry to know themselves better and tap into their power.
The goal of the Keitt Institute corporate training is to inspire, compel, invigorate and motivate professionals in high powered, energetic environments in order to facilitate greater personal and professional growth and development. In the KI EXPERIENCES, we’ve helped professionals from every type of industry including, education, technology, finance, law, medicine, accounting, and the service and transportation industry.
When we think about successful leaders, the word resonate comes to mind. Leaders who, according to Merriam-Webster, appeal to people in a personal or emotional way and who hold importance for their colleagues. That’s why we created the RESONATE Masterclass experience.
Professionals who have gone through this programming are working to bring their lives into alignment. Our sessions are filled with conversation, training, exercises, reflection, interaction, and teaching. The four vital elements every leader learns through RESONATE include self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship skills leading to lasting harmony, peace, and accord. During this experience we provide distinctive workbooks designed intentionally for learning to take place.
2020 was an unprecedented year for us all. Born out of the pandemic, MASTERING RESILIENCE focuses on teaching adults how to overcome and bounce back from adversity and challenges in their lives. Professionals tell the Keitt Institute, this program has been pivotal to how they cope during these trying times saying, “I’m not alone. There are others with the same feelings, and the way I feel is okay.”
Since its inception, 388 professionals from a variety of industries have taken part in this experience. From learning character strengths, discovering life passion, and learning to address difficulties head on, business professionals can take their mission to the next level. One participant told us they learned, “How to get rid of the mind games. Don’t ruminate. Don’t blow things out of proportion. Don’t drive yourself crazy with what ifs. I tend to do all these things. I’m a work in progress on my mental health.”
The NOT LIKE ME experience delves into the differences in all of us. We live in a world with 7.5 billion people and come across people who are of different ethnic backgrounds and who live, think and feel differently than we do every day.
NOT LIKE ME dives into our differences, and teaches how they can be used to strengthen our relationships and create a healthy and compatible working environment.
Here at the Keitt Institute, we know our thoughts are the catalyst to our success. In SUCCESSFUL THINKING, we teach how our thoughts impact our lives and help us understand our unique paradigm.
Women who’ve gone through this experience tell us, “I can now work with myself and not against what is natural to me – instead of trying to be what a strong successful woman is supposed to be.”
This curriculum explains the kinds of automatic thoughts we have, and how we can use our character strengths to think more powerfully, and create a successful thinking strategy. Women in the course say, “I know what my character strengths are, which gives me an understanding of who I am and how I approach life.”
