I want to do what you’ve been doing my whole life.
-Morgan Holmes

With that short, direct, and life-changing sentence, our work together began.

Morgan & Jennifer's Story

Morgan had just finished her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology and was working in a lab, but unfulfilled. She had said since high school that she wanted to work for herself, but Jennifer couldn’t have imagined that she would want to work with her.

Jennifer started hosting yearly gatherings of women, which she called “The Power Breakfast,” when Morgan was about 8 years old. Her four kids and husband would be in charge of “stuffing the goody bags” for the ladies, and then the kids would sleep in the back of the room through the event! Little did she know that her work — empowering, educating, equipping, and encouraging women — both on the radio and in person would also become her daughter’s calling.

Isn’t life amazing?!

Fast forward to today, and for over a decade, they have been building The Keitt Institute: Your Center for Emotional Development and Well-Being. What started as a yearly gathering of women has evolved into an institution producing engaging, transformative tools and experiences for leaders who want to elevate, transform, and thrive in life. Every day, they endeavor to create bite-size, portable, evidence-informed workshops, keynotes, courses, power tools, and videos to help people become leaders that others want to follow.

Our work

About the Keitt Institute

We are committed to supporting individuals like you in elevating, transforming, and thriving in all aspects of life.

Why do we focus on emotional development and well-being?

We believe that both concepts are critical for life and leadership success – so it’s essential to grasp their significance.

Emotional development is all about being able to understand and handle your emotions in a healthy way. When we talk about well-being, we’re really talking about feeling good — physically, mentally, and emotionally — and having a sense of purpose in life.

The Concept

You Can't Lead Others Until You Lead Yourself First.

Central to our approach at The Keitt Institute is the belief that effective leadership begins with self-leadership. Our premise that “You can’t lead others until you lead yourself first” underscores the importance of personal growth and self-awareness in leadership roles. Before aspiring to lead others, individuals must first cultivate the necessary skills and qualities within themselves.

The Practices

Transformation Principles Ingrained in Our DNA

Baked into everything that we do are four principles that aid in transformation.

Building
Self-Awareness

You can't change what you don't know. We help people evaluate how their actions, thoughts, and emotions align with their values.

Incorporating Reflection

Self-reflection enables you to organize your thoughts and feelings to develop goals and action steps.

Writing on Paper

Your brain processes information differently and stores it better when you write on paper rather than typing.

Encouraging an A.C.T.T.

Application is the only thing that matters. So our goal is to provide practical information that people can apply to grow, transform, and thrive.
